1. DELHI

• The water level of the Yamuna river surpassed 208.05 meters, exceeding the estimation of 207.99 meters by the Central Water Commission late. The area near the Old Yamuna bridge, known as
  ‘Loha Pul,’ experienced flooding.
• 
  Total 12 NDRF teams were deployed for rescue work in the most flood-affected areas.
• Several viral videos on social media showed massive riverside hotels, multi-storey buildings, trucks and cars being swept away by the fury of the Beas River.

2. HIMACHAL PRADESH

• Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway too has proven to be a disaster.
• Heavy landslides and rocks breaking down from the
  critically wounded mountains reduced the road to 10-12 feet passage, severely restricting vehicular mobility in the state. 
• More than 1,000 roads are still closed as electricity and power infrastructure lay damaged or only temporarily restored.

3. UTTARAKHAND

• Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand has claimed 27 lives in the last three days as landslides and flash floods disrupted lives and damaged homes.
• Over 160 devotees, undertaking the Char Dham yatra, have lost
  their lives in rain-related incidents. 

The monsoon is disrupting the vegetable supply chain. This year, we are going to witness higher vegetable prices for a prolonged period. For Example: The rate of tomatoes has touched the height of Rs 300/Kg.
